Dr. Michael J. Young, O.D.
About Doctor Michael J. Young; Achieved his B.S. at the South Dakota School of Mines and technology, then earned his M.S from U.C. Berkley in Materials, Science & Engineering. Went on to achieved his O.D. U.C. Berkley. Worked as an Engineer in New York, Wisconsin and Texas. After graduation from Optometry School he spent three years as a staff Optometrist for the U.S. Army stationed at the Army's largest basic training post: Ft. Jackson, South Carolina. Established his Optometry practice located on the beautiful Central Coast of California in 1996 and has been at the current location since 1998.
